About John Dufficy

I have worked as a carpenter for over twenty years and in the last ten I have decided to turn my hand to furniture making, the results of which can be seen on this site.

I have purposely made the work shown here as original and complex as l could manage. The reasoning behind this is to show some of the limitless options in creating a one of a kind piece of functional art. My personal preference is to have the work emulate the natural world. With avoidance of straight lines where practical, blinding different materials and above all strength and durability.
